For its Swiss unit, the corporation was looking for solution for its vehicle fleet management. Here, Johnson Controls decided to implement the leading Fleet Management Software
comm.fleet, which is already in use in over 120 companies in 6 countries and currently manages more than 200,000 vehicles.
The ERP tool
comm.fleet was developed jointly by the companies community4you and Hiepler + Partner and is based on 20 years of practical experience in fleet consultancy and the implementation of personalized software solutions.
This is a benefit for the Johnson Controls GWS GmbH in more than one way. With comm.fleet, the company not only gains a complete overview and transparency for its carpool, but it is also able to reduce internal expenses like work, time and costs. All business processes, from vehicle procurement and data maintenance, repair and maintenance management to fuel card management and vehicle sales, will be managed and monitored with comm.fleet.
Due to the extensive reporting and controlling tools of comm.fleet, Johnson Controls will also win valuable insights for the optimization of its fleet management and will therefore be able to identify cost drivers, to use resources more efficiently and to streamline workflows.
With comm.fleet, Johnson Controls has chosen a customizable solution for the management of its vehicles, which maps all internal fleet management processes due to its comprehensive functions.Moreover, a specifically customized web front-end was developed for the company, in order to map the internal ordering and approval processes of its mixed fleet of leased and own vehicles.
