With around 500 exhibitors, over 45.000 professional visitors and an exhibition area of more than 28.000 qm, the Intermodal 2010 from April 6 to April 8 once again showed that it is indeed South America's leading trade fair for international transport, logistics and cargo handling.

		community4you's first time participation in the trade fair this year was a great success. The presentation of our software products for the management of vehicle fleets ( comm.fleet / comm.lease) and for the management of trade shows ( comm.fair / comm.ticket) at our own stand attracted great attention among visitors. They were especially interested in our easy, clear and cost-efficient fleet management system comm.fleet, which was presented at the fair for the first time to the global audience. Nevertheless, the Intermodal South America was also an excellent chance to consult with experts and customers in order to expand our trade show business.
Altogether, community4you was able to establish numerous new promising contacts and provide prospective customers with information and technical know-how, turning the participation in the trade fair into a huge success.

Trade Fair Visit in France - community4you screens the European Market

Especially with regard to our sales activities on the European Market concerning our product comm.fleet, this trade fair represented an important possibility to gain an overview over potential customers, business partners and competitors.

Thus, at the end of March we set off for the French capital to attend the trade show as professional visitors. We returned with positive impressions, numerous new contacts and intriguing insights regarding fleet management. Altogether, it was an interesting and successful opportunity to do market research. Optimized Creation of eLearning Modules with comm.editsweb

During the product development of comm.editsweb, importance was again attached to the communication and data transfer between our products. The cooperation of our Learning Management System comm.lms and comm.editsweb, which has been proven in numerous funded projects, was identified as a significant addition to the functional range and is now available to all customers as a standard function.

With regard to content creation, the use of the Document Management System with authoring and publishing components is favored in order to enable a simple, uniform and structured development of e-learning modules. Thanks to comm.editsweb, methodically prepared learning content can be implemented in modular form and according to defined layout specifications, and can be transferred via a button to comm.lms. Thus, the structure entries in comm.editsweb are reflected later in the navigation within the learning modules. The contents of the downstream modules are displayed page by page.

Due to the standardization in comm.editsweb, including e.g. the deposit of templates with a neutral layout, authors can focus on the professional content creation. For instance, the font formatting defined within the didactic and technical concept and the predetermined content can be stored by appropriate templates, so that the transfer of the content to the learning environment of comm.lms is a perfect fit. This saves you extensive rework.

Business Process Optimization with the "simulation.navigator"

Business process optimization is about improving a company's processes and therefore its quality. It includes increasing the efficiency of activities through targeted troubleshooting.

Using the web-based software solution " simulation.navigator" existing business processes can be tested and potential for improvement will be identified. Having the best possible realistic picture of the genuine
business processes is of great advantage.

During this sub-project, which was developed within the project simKMU, community4you is the technical partner of Druckerei Süd Bauch GmbH & Co. KG. The first release is expected for October 2010.
