At the end of June the fleet industry met at the Nürburgring near Cologne, Germany, for the Fuhrpark-FORUM 2010 - the most important event of the vehicle (fleet) industry. Every year, this event brings together more than 1.000 experts and 130 exhibitors from Germany and its neighboring countries.

This year again we were present at the exhibition together with our longtime partner in fleet management - Hiepler + Partner GmbH - at our own stand. For us the ideal opportunity to demonstrate our software solution comm.fleet, which was developed together with Hiepler + Partner, to establish new contacts and to catch up on the latest trends in the fleet sector.

comm.fleet is a professional, proven and complete solution for the management of parks of vehicles. The software optimally supports all business processes and offers a multitude of standard interfaces for the unproblematic integration into existing system environments, professional controlling tools as well as a high degree of flexibility and individuality.

Especially the ability of comm.fleet to map every conceivable feature of the companies' business processes adequately and its extensive reporting capabilities appealed to the trade visitors. Our presence at the Fuhrpark-FORUM 2010 was therefore a great success, where many new potential customers could be acquired.

The first phase of the Java training in La Paz was a great success

Professionals, professors and students participated enthusiastically.

From June 28 to July 2, the first phase of the qualification project for Bolivian IT specialists took place. This project is carried out by community4you in cooperation with the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés (UMSA), the Universidad Católica Boliviana San Pablo (UCB) and various companies in La Paz, Bolivia.

The aim is to foster the formation and advanced training of IT specialists via a comprehensive qualification measure regarding Java programming in the form of blended learning courses. In order to achieve this, community4you employs its comprehensive Learning Management System comm.lms.


    
Now, the first two modules have been successfully completed. Among students, professors and programmers from well-known Bolivian companies the demand for the Java courses was overwhelming. In this first phase, the participants were introduced to Java Programming and studied the development and deployment of enterprise applications.

Participants as well as instructors and organizers were very satisfied with the course and its outcome. Therefore, community4you is looking forward to the next two modules which will take place from September 6 to September 10.

community4you plans educational project in Brazil

German-Brazilian Year of Science, Technology and Innovation - community4you GmbH supports the initiative by implementing an educational project in São Paulo.

Within the context of the German-Brazilian Year of Science, Technology and Innovation 2010/2011, community4you GmbH plans an educational project together with the University of São Paulo. One of the core aims of this international science year is the expansion of the scientific technological cooperation of the two countries.

The objective of the educational projects is to train Brazilian IT experts in innovative software devel-opment. community4you plans to implement this training in the form of blended learning courses (alternating phases of attendance and virtual studying).

As an initiation measure, community4you is going to have preparatory meetings at the University of São Paulo (USP) in order to plan further proceedings and courses of action concerning the project. An initial contact has already been established with the Commission for International Cooperation of the USP.

This initiation measure is supported within the framework of the German-Brazilian Year of Science, Technology and Innovation 2010/2011 by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
