Hello neighbors! - comm.fleet on the European market
Within the Dutch and French economies the transport and logistics industry sectors take an important position. In both
countries the demand for specialized software solutions concerning these domains increases constantly. In this context, the
management of grand fleets of vehicles is highly important and our Fleet Management System
comm.fleet the perfect answer.

Based on these findings, we are now working closely together with the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the respective countries. Our first approach is to find both potential distributors and companies that can guarantee the technical support as local partners. Another one is, of course, to acquire end users on the spot. Of course this can only be accomplished by personal interaction. That is why several trips to the Netherlands and France are already planned. |

To sum it up: we are convinced that comm.fleet will succeed not only in Germany but also across the borders and that in the first step of our European activities we can say: "Hello neighbors, we are coming!"
community4you expands its network to Saudi-Arabia, Qatar and Bahrain
From May 16th to May 21st, community4you took part in a delegation's journey to Saudi-Arabia, Qatar and Bahrain, organized
by iMove, an initiative of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, in cooperation with the Ghorfa Arab-German
Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Didacta Association. The journey brought community4you into the three capital cities
Riyadh, Doha and Manama.
During official visits to relevant governmental institutions, cooperation meetings with companies and educational
institutions and evening receptions, we were able to present our Learning Management System
comm.lms as well as our Fleet Management System
comm.fleet to numerous interested business partners.
Highlights of the journey were, among others, the visits to the Al-Faisal Academy in Riyadh, the Qatar Foundation und the
Science Park in Doha as well as the meeting with the Ministry of Education in Manama.
The journey was a perfect opportunity to meet Arabian business people and community4you established many promising new
contacts. Overall, the interest in our products was outstanding and we were able to live up to the success of our business trip
to Latin America in April.
Qualification of Bolivian IT specialists
Information and communication technologies (ICTs) continue to gain importance for the economic and social development of
countries. The access to and exchange of data and information are vital requirements for competitiveness, growth and
development. This applies to both the state and the private sector. Public authorities, the health care system as well as the
education sector benefit from modern information and data management as do private enterprises.
In developing countries like Bolivia, the availability and exposure to modern ICTs is severely limited,
so that it is only marginally possible to take advantage of these technologies. Overcoming the "digital divide" - the
digital gap between poor and rich countries - is thus a key task of international collaboration.
One central challenge complicating the implementation of these strategies is the fact that in Bolivia there are not
enough local IT specialists available, who are able to develop modern software applications independently, e.g. regarding
eLearning or ecommerce. Opportunities for advanced training are scarce, IT specialists can only improve their skills via
"learning by doing". Therefore, major software projects are frequently realized with large foreign software companies. This
drives up costs and allows only large enterprises to commission such projects. Especially small and medium sized businesses are
excluded from technical innovations.
With a 24 month PPP project, community4you GmbH fosters the formation and advanced training of IT specialists via a
comprehensive qualification measure regarding Java programming. This programming language is on the rise globally and provides
Bolivian IT companies and university chairs with the possibility to autonomously develop modern software applications and to
offer their knowledge on the Latin American market.
In the course of this project, community4you GmbH employs its Learning Management System
comm.lms.
The project is promoted within the develoPPP.de program of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development via sequa gGmbH.
