The hands-on fair for young and old
Makers united is the hands-on fair for young and old in Chemnitz and the region. This is where science, technology, craftsmanship and art come together. Over two days, visitors to the Stadthalle Chemnitz can program robots themselves, try out 3D printers and VR glasses, do handicrafts and be amazed. Because in addition to numerous experiments and hands-on offers, there is also a lot to see and hear.

One of the highlights of makers united is the moving art and design laboratory FABMOBIL: the black double-decker bus is a former tour bus that is now stuffed full of digital technology and machine tools. The aim of the Fabmobil is to bring creative technologies such as 3D printing, hacking, robotics and programming to rural areas. Because normally the bus is on the road, especially in eastern Saxony, going to schools, youth centers and other gathering places. To vitalize and activate existing offers and to build new, digital and contemporary culture and experience formats in a cosmopolitan society. The bus will make a special stop in Chemnitz for makers united. Discover more highlights and the complete program for 2023
community4you supports makers united and presents the FABMOBIL
Community4you supports makers united 2023 as a sponsor and presents the FABMOBIL as a special highlight. This is based on the conviction that events such as the Chemnitz hands-on fair trigger curiosity and fun in learning and tinkering. Here children can try things out, receive age-appropriate instruction and discover new worlds and their own strengths in a playful way. A real win for Chemnitz and the region - a place where the makers of tomorrow are born.
