At the request of ABS Group Services de Mexico, S.A. de C.V., the open-EIS based Learning Management System comm.lms was successfully put into operation for the Mexican market in Spanish language. The integration platform open-EIS and the Learning Management System comm.lms served as the technical project basis, which was supplemented by a Spanish-language authoring system, a Spanish-language learning platform and the possibility of "Rapid Content Development".
Challenge
ABS Group Services de Mexico, S.A. de C.V. was looking for a flexible Learning Management System that could be used as Software as a Service model for the Mexican market.
Solution
The Spanish system is characterized by a target group-specific and didactically prepared design for the learning environment. By means of easily adaptable functionalities and various possibilities for fast and simple content creation, the system was developed as an individual education portal.
Additionally, an application plug-in for Rapid Content Development through the easy import of formatted Microsoft and Open Office documents was integrated into the system. The documents are automatically converted into e-Learning courses by the LMS authoring system.
