„Chemnitzer Firmen-Cup“: community4you AG kicked for a good cause
17.06.2017 - 30 company teams played to win the cup of the traditional tournament and to support social projects.
On 17 June 2017 community4you AG played as one of 30 company teams to win the „Chemnitzer Firmen-Cup“, the charity football tournament of the Chemnitz Lions Club „Richard Hartmann“. The software manufacturer is acting out of conviction and local solidarity for people, sports clubs, institutions and projects with the aim of advancing the whole southwest Saxon region.
The 7th edition of the company-cup with over 300 participants as well as numerous coaches and spectators was a huge success with beautiful football weather. The 30 teams played in six preliminary groups of five teams. Afterwards they continued to play in World Cup mode in knockout rounds.

community4you AG sent a team of highly motivated players. The participants were completely dressed by community4you: each team member received a tricot with number and logo of the company. The good conditions on the pitch ensured a good atmosphere for all players. For the enthusiastic spectators there were 76 dramatic games with a lot of spectacular goals to see.
Following the principle of the Lions Club to serve the community the proceeds of this charity tournament will go to children, young people, socially disadvantaged persons and charitable projects. This year a total of about € 15,000 was collected, which allowed supporting inter alia the “CFC Förderverein für Jugend, Sport und Soziales e.V”, the autism centre Chemnitz as well as the Chemnitz park railway.
