community4you completes expansion of the Trade Fair Management System of the Deutsche Messe AG
The exhibition platform XP@OBS of the Deutsche Messe AG, developed by community4you, has been successfully extended by an authoring and print processing system.
In early July, the project was successfully completed and handed over to the Deutsche Messe AG. Already since 2007, all exhibitor business processes in Hanover have been handled via the online platform of community4you, which is based on the company's own open-EIS integration platform. Exhibitors can log in to and register via the ordering and registration system XP@OBS, where they are also able to configure their exhibition stands online (e.g. the stand furniture) as well as to order and pay for the relevant services.
Within this system extension, the platform has now been expanded by an "authoring and print processing system for services" (RDS). With the RDS, business and system processes like processing, releasing and printing stand confirmations, registration forms and service offerings are optimized and standardized. The external output management system is carried out - while also integrating the accounting system from SAP - via a PDF based file interface.
Due to the RDS, the Deutsche Messe AG is from now on able to handle all authoring and release processes with regard to service offerings for both the online and the print version in a consistent and standardized workflow.
