Fundraiser hugely successful
Fleet Software Producer community4you helps 12 Charities
In August, the manufacturer of fleet management software and leasing management software community4you called on sports clubs and charities in the Chemnitz region to apply for a donation. The goal of the Chemnitz company: to set new impulses for projects after difficult months of Corona contact restrictions. A total of 10,000 Euros was made available. Almost 50 applications were received within three weeks. Now 12 projects have been awarded.
We wanted to set an example. Especially in these times, when many people are worried about their future, social cohesion is essential. The clubs and charities form precious communities - it was therefore natural for us to strengthen them and their work.
community4you AG is aware of its roots. We know: Even as an internationally successful provider of fleet management software and fleet apps, we need these roots in order to be able to continue growing. That is why we accept our special responsibility as a company in this situation and give something back with our donation campaign.
We received many very good project ideas. First of all, I would like to say thank you for that on behalf of all community4you employees. It's great to see what the clubs and charities are doing, what they are planning and how much effort has gone into the applications. There is an enormous potential there. All these projects deserve support.
It was important for the jury to not only symbolically recognize these efforts with a small amount of money each, but to actually help some project ideas come to reality. In view of the almost 50 applications, we had to make a selection.
A sports city, a cultural city, an active city thrives on volunteers who get involved in their free time - may it be in the sports group, at a cultural association, in a social project or with the fire brigade. The sports clubs, associations and charities are what makes our city worth living: this is where people meet, where we find support in difficult times. Here, ideas are born and projects are beeing tackled. Voluntary work is definitely worth supporting.
A Donation will be given to 12 Associations with a wide Variety of Projects
- Vfl Chemnitz (inclusive sports festival)
- Animal Rescue Chemnitz (purchase of rescue equipment)
- SV Chemnitz / Harthau e.V. (acquisition of a training device)
- INTEGRA 2000 e.V. (organization of free theater performances for children)
- Together instead of against each other e.V. (repair of a training facility)
- Chemnitzer Ballspielclub e.V. (participation in a tournament)
- Riding and driving club Euba (purchase of a school and therapy horse)
- Chemnitz Children's Association (expansion of a youth club)
- Kraftwerk e.V. (work on the outdoor area)
- Bandbüro Chemnitz e.V. (expansion of an open children's and youth rehearsal room)
- SV Lebensfreude Chemnitz e.V. (implementation of a holiday active camp)
- Chemnitz Diving Club (apnea diving for children)
The Foundation Bürgerstiftung für Chemnitz offers further help for the associations with a micro fund
