Software Manufacturer community4you nominated for the SME Award 2023
The Chemnitz-based manufacturer of fleet and leasing software community4you AG has been nominated for the 'SME Award'.
For community4you, after 2014 and 2022, it is already the third participation in the prestigious competition, for which you cannot apply yourself, but can only be suggested.
The 'SME Award' is held by the Oskar Patzelt Foundation. The winners will be selected in a multi-stage process, which community4you will now face.
In 2023, the business prize has the annual motto "Securing the future together". It is not individual achievements that are rewarded, but the company as a whole and in its complex role in society.
For Uwe Bauch, the CEO of community4you, the nomination is already a great recognition in itself.

The company's economic success is based on the people who work here. Our employees themselves are parents, some are grandparents, sons and daughters. They have their views, hopes, fears and needs. We're trying to address that.
In 2022, the software manufacturer showed itself to its employees as a respectful partner once again. The company counters high inflation rates and rising energy prices with bonuses, heating cost subsidies and flexible home office regulations. The employees should not have to worry about the next bill - measures that create identification and trust.
The community4you employees also show initiative: In March 2022, they set up a Ukraine fundraiser themselves. The company stepped in as a sponsor, enabling goods worth around 15,000 euros to be brought to the Ukrainian border. The company now wants to consolidate such forms of commitment and is planning to introduce an annual donation budget for each employee. At the same time, community4you wants to give something back to society and promote even more what is important to the employees.

What happens next?
Community4you now has until April 15 to compile meaningful documents and submit them online. An independent jury will then select the winners and finalists. The award ceremonies take place in September, followed by the national gala in October.
