Community4you is combining economic success with social added value
The Chemnitz-based software manufacturer community4you is one of the 15 finalists for The Pioneer Award for outstanding entrepreneurial achievements. This year's winners will be determined by public online voting until September 1.
The award is presented in three categories: Future Makers, Made in Germany, and Society Impact. Community4you is nominated in the Society Impact category for its social commitment as co-initiator of the Business Initiative for Democracy and Diversity (WIDV), which was launched in 2024 and has been significantly shaped by the company ever since.
The WIDV is a network of around 60 Saxon companies that work together to find ways to effectively promote democracy, diversity, and cosmopolitanism. The aim is to gain allies with whom concrete projects and campaigns can be set up. This collaboration gives rise to practical and easily implementable ideas that flow directly into everyday business life.
As an employer, we feel connected to and committed to our colleagues, regardless of their origin or religion. It is also our responsibility to take a clear stand when entire population groups are stigmatized and marginalized. We want to promote respect, tolerance, and cooperation—both within the company and in the region. For us, this is also a question of sustainability.
We are delighted to be among the finalists. However, what we have achieved with WIDV so far and what we plan to achieve in the future is a joint effort involving many companies. We hope to gain even more supporters—because only together can we send a strong message.

About the Pioneer Award
The Pioneer Award was first presented in 2024 by Berlin-based Media Pioneer Publishing AG and will be awarded for the second time in 2025. The award recognizes companies that have achieved exceptional performance through courage, responsibility, and innovation. The award is presented in three categories – Future Makers, Made in Germany, and Society Impact – and is decided 50% by a jury of experts and 50% by a public online vote.
The award ceremony will take place on September 25, 2025, as part of the MY WAY conference in Berlin.
