Strong partnership for young IT talent: community4you AG and Mentor Spot launch “MineCode” competition
What has long been common practice in competitive sports is now also becoming a forward-looking model for the economy: tomorrow's professionals are being developed right on site. With this in mind, community4you AG is focusing on close cooperation with proven experts. Together with Mentor Spot in Brühl, Chemnitz, the software manufacturer is launching the “MineCode” competition to get children excited about programming in a playful way.

Economic stimulus and personal recognition

We specifically approached Mentor Spot because we need a partner who speaks the language of children and brings technology to life,“ emphasizes Uwe Bauch, CEO of community4you AG. ”Without the expertise and passion of the Mentor Spot team, such a project would not be feasible. As a company, we want to inspire the skilled workers of tomorrow today—but as parents on the team, the project is also close to our hearts. It's great to see how children are transforming from mere consumers to creators of digital worlds.
A test run with added value for schools in Chemnitz
The MineCode competition is part of the local initiative talents united, which connects elementary schools in Chemnitz and the surrounding area. The aim is to support teachers in discovering the individual talents of their pupils at an early stage.
Schools that encourage their pupils to participate in MineCode receive valuable extra points for the talents united overall ranking. Uwe Bauch sees this as a great opportunity.
Pilot phase and clear division of roles
While established events such as the Mathematics Olympiad can look back on years of experience, MineCode 2026 is entering its pilot phase. In this collaboration, Mentor Spot is taking on the role of organizer: at its premises in Brühl, the team is providing the technology, time, and educational expertise. community4you AG is supporting this initiative by assisting with documentation and sponsoring prizes for the participating children.
Together, the partners want to gain valuable experience in order to firmly establish the format in the regional educational landscape in the future.
